What ports should I use for different proxy types?
Use these ports based on your proxy type:

Why am I getting "connection refused" errors?
You're likely using the wrong port. We don't use port 8080 or 9000 for residential proxies. Use ports 10000-10099 for residential/unlimited proxies instead.

How do I target specific geographic locations?
Add parameters to your username for location targeting:

My account was banned. What should I do?
Temporary bans automatically expire after 10 minutes. Simply wait and try again. If the issue persists, check your payment status in the dashboard.
Session Management
What is the difference between rotating and sticky sessions?
Rotating Sessions
New IP for each request. Ideal for large-scale data collection and avoiding detection.

Sticky Sessions
Same IP for specified duration. Perfect for login sessions and multi-step processes.

How many concurrent connections can I use?
Connection limits vary by proxy type:
- All Proxy Types: Up to 5000 concurrent connections
- IPv6: Based on your purchased thread count

Are there SDKs available?
Official SDKs are not yet available, but you can use standard HTTP/SOCKS5 libraries in any programming language to connect to our proxies.

No, the API is for internal dashboard use only. Connect directly to proxy endpoints for proxy usage.

Do you offer datacenter proxies?
No, we currently offer residential, platinum, mobile, and IPv6 proxies only. Our focus is on high-quality residential IPs for better success rates.
What locations are available?
ProxyOmega offers proxies in 195+ countries with city and state-level targeting in major regions.
Use country codes (us, uk, de, etc.) in your username string to target specific locations. Premium plans support city and state-level targeting.
